AAFP’s CENTER FOR HEALTH INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

The Center for Health Information Technology is the focal point of the AAFP's technical expertise, advocacy, research, and member services associated with medical office automation and computerization. The Center is dedicated to increasing the availability and use of low-cost, standards-based information technology among family physicians, nationally, and internationally, through consultative, educational, and outreach activities.

AMERICAN ACADEMY OF FAMILY PHYSICIANS

iMedica is proud to be part of the 2008 AAFP Foundation Corporate Program. The American Academy of Family Physicians is one of the largest national medical organizations, representing more than 94,000 family physicians, family medicine residents, and medical students nationwide.

EHRVA

HIMSS Electronic Health Record Vendors Association (EHRVA) is a trade association of EHR vendors that join together to lead the HIT industry in the accelerated adoption of electronic health records. The association provides a forum for the vendor community to speak with a unified voice relative to standards development, the EHR certification process, interoperability, etc.

HIMSS

HIMSS (Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society) is the healthcare industry's membership organization exclusively focused on providing leadership for the optimal use of healthcare information technology and management systems for the betterment of human health. HIMSS frames and leads healthcare public policy and industry practices through its advocacy, educational and professional development initiatives.

MEDICAL SOFTWARE ADVICE

Medical Software Advice provides a free website and phone-based consultations for physicians that are researching a new medical software purchase. Their large and growing database of systems allows physicians to narrow down a “short list” of software systems by specialty, size and functional requirements. iMedica was an early supporter of Medical Software Advice.

MGMA

The Medical Group Management Association (MGMA), founded in 1926, is the nation's principal voice for medical group practice. MGMA's 20,000 members manage and lead more than 12,000 organizations in which more than 242,000 physicians practice. MGMA leads the profession and assists members through information, education, networking and advocacy.

PAHCOM

PAHCOM is a nationwide organization dedicated to providing a strong professional network of resources for health care office managers that will perpetuate the productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness of its members through increased knowledge of health care management principles and research, thereby promoting professionalism in the physician office practice. PHYSICIANS' ALLIANCE

Physicians' Alliance is a non profit group purchasing organization founded by doctors in 1992 with the mission of helping medical practices reduce their operating costs. Our thousands of physician members save millions of dollars by getting free access to discounted pricing/preferred terms on agreements covering a full range of goods and services they regularly use.
