With iMedica PRM, physicians have access to patient data anytime, anywhere, either stored on their laptop/tablet or accessed over a secure Internet connection. iMedica PRM offers a unique data replication function that saves selected data (for example, charts for the day's appointments) on the provider's tablet or laptop. Doctors can then make housecalls or review charts in an airplane, where Internet access is unavailable.
In addition, iMediVault constantly creates a real-time data back-up on secure iMedica servers, allowing physicians to access their system from any Internet connection. iMediVault also provides off-site data back-up and a tool for iMedica technical support engineers to access clients' systems and solve technical issues immediately.
Remote Backup and Storage
iMediVault increases practices' data security by providing a real-time, continuous, off-site data backup with patented data security. It is not intended to provide an instant system restoration, but a redundant backup in case of emergency. If a practice lost all of its data, the information in iMediVault could be used to restore the database.
In addition, iMediVault allows iMedica technical support to analyze and solve problems quickly by accessing the practice's data remotely. This enables iMedica to solve problems in hours (or less) that might otherwise take days.
